Tallow has been used to nourish and protect skin for thousands of years, from scorching Egypt to the high, cold deserts of Central Asia. 

Rich in vitamins E, D, and K, it mimics the natural oils in your skin, locking in moisture and preventing water loss more effectively than many chemical-based products. Tallow's anti-inflammatory properties soothe irritation, reduce redness, and help with acne, scarring, and sun damage. Its molecular structure supports skin barrier repair and strengthens your skin’s defenses, while promoting improved blood flow, cell regeneration, and a more even skin tone.

Squalane is a lightweight, fast-absorbing, and non-comedogenic emollient that effectively calms, smooths, and hydrates dry, inflamed, and sensitive skin without clogging pores. It is the fully saturated form of squalene, a natural lipid found in the skin that plays a vital role in supporting the skin’s barrier and locking in moisture. As squalane levels naturally decline with age, it becomes a key ingredient for addressing the needs of aging skin.

Red raspberry seed oil is highly valued for its powerful antioxidant properties and nourishing fatty acids. Studies suggest it may offer broad-spectrum UV protection with an approximate SPF of 30 (though it should not replace primary sun protection). Rich in ALA omega-3 fatty acids, this oil has been researched for its potential to prevent sun spots and enhance skin barrier function, which is crucial for maintaining hydration and protecting against environmental stressors.

The oil also contains alpha-pinene, myrcene, and theophylline—compounds that have been studied for their ability to reduce UV-induced photoaging and inhibit enzymes that break down collagen and elastin, helping to preserve youthful skin. These properties make blue tansy flower oil a powerful anti-aging botanical.
